Wolf Quest
Can you survive the call of the wild?
Taking care of pups can be hard thing to do especialy when there are bears and coyotes trying to get a taste of your pups!
So Let learn how to take care of them! First once you have found your perfect den it will tell you to mark your territorry (I suggest marking to hundred percent even when it say's marking complete dont say yes or done yet keep marking till hundred percent then say yes or done.)
After that it will say please wait till spring time for your pups to come and then it will let you name your pups! Once you do that then you should have 4 brown pups (unless you did the white pup glitch/secret) and you have to keep them near the den, when you see a pup walking away from the den then go close to it and when a yellow wolf head comes up press the space bar to pick it up and bring it to the den and then press space bar again to put it down.
To feed the pups you need to make sure you have food for them and to do so go and eat a peice of caracass and go to a pup and wait till you see a yellow wolf head and then press F to feed it! Everytime you go to hunt or go far away from the den your mate will come back to the den and feed and protect the pups, in fact I once was gone from the den a long time and my mate kept them healthy and alive! (what a good mate he was).
Also I learned if you get a elk close to your den your mate will come and help kill it (don't worry if your mate dies when hes trying to kill a elk or bull elk he will come back alive without you having to starting over its the same for you if you die) Everytime there is a predator near, the camera will zoom in to show there is a predator trying to get your pups. To kill a coyote you have to bite it three times, you can't really kill a bear because it almost IMPOSSIBLE but if you bite it three times it will run off!
When it time for you to go to your summer den you will have a new predator to look out for: The Eagle! Eagles are very sneaky flying above you and your pups going closer and closer untill its on the ground getting to one of your pups so i suggest putting on your walk mode and being close to your pups and when you see the eagle on the ground go to it and it will fly away!
Before crossing a river feed your pups and get more food for your pups for after crossing the river. Make sure to cross a section on the river thats not deep or else you puppy will drown.
You have to carry your puppy across the river as quick as you can before it will drown (your mate should help you carry the other pups across the river, and don't be frustraded when you go get a pup across the river and your mate carrys the pup that was already across the river to you it always happens to me:)
Once you have carried them across the river make sure you don't get into another wolfs territory (if you do you will have to cross the river again). In order to do that keep looking at your map and make sure your not heading to the purple circles. once you get everyone (or the remaining pups if some died on the journey) to the summer den then you and your pups and mate will start howling and then it should say you have completed wolf quest do you want visit our website?
It will also say quit or end game and I think that means to remove it from your laptop/computer and it will give a chose of keep playing the game and start a new game. So ya thats pretty much it of how to take care of your pups! Boy was that alot of writing now my hand hurts lol.
If you want to know how to hunt a elk or bull elk then listen up! First lets learn how to hunt down a female elk. Once you have found a female elk make sure your health is at 100 percent (When you first made your wolf and you made it really strong then hunting should be easy because you have stronger bite force) then get close to the elk and when you see a red wolf head press the space bar to bite it. When you bite many times it should start walking backwards and will want to fight back when ever you bite it, this is when lots food and carcasses (so you can get your health back to 100%) are handy so you can controll the elk and steer it to where you want it too!
That was how to hunt down a female elk now for the bull elk! Hunting down a bull elk is pretty much the same as hunting down a female elk expect you have bite more times and its more stronger, but the good thing is once you kill it will give you lots of food and health.
